Perpetuating Factors
To successfully manage MPS, perpetuating factors have to be corrected and eliminated. In most cases, these factors are overlooked and neglected. In people with chronic MPS, perpetuating factors become the difference between a successful treatment and a failed treatment.
Common Perpetuating Factors:
-
Nutrient deficiency or insufficiency
-
Injuries
-
Postural dysfunctions- standing, sitting, sleeping
-
Poor ergonomics
-
Mechanical / structural imbalances
-
Allergies
-
Psychological or emotional stress
-
Infections
-
Endocrine and metabolic inadequacies
-
Hormonal imbalances
